At GSD families play an important role; that is why we share many activities with them.

When our students become “Stars of the Week”, families come to our class and work with them for a period of time.

We love having them around and it helps their child feel important.

En GSD las familias juegan un papel muy importante. Por eso cuando nuestros estudiantes son “Protagonistas de la semana”, sus familias vienen a la clase y comparten alguna actividad con ellos y sus compañeros.

Nos encanta tenerlos con nosotros y sus niños se sienten muy importantes.

In Level 6A we are still working with famous artists; right now we are  investigating about Frida Kahlo, a mexican artist characterized by painting with surrealist and expressionist elements.

We are also exploring the Universe and creating different material to know more about our Solar System.

En Level 6A seguimos trabajando con artistas famosos. Ahora estamos investigando acerca de Frida Kahlo, una artista mexicana caracterizada por pintar con elementos surrealistas y expresionistas.

Además estamos explorando el Universo y creando diferentes materiales para conocer más acerca de nuestro Sistema Solar.

We are studying about the greatest artist Wassily Kandinsky. He saw the world through colors and geometric shapes. We tried to use all recycled material children brought from home studying patterns, sizes, colores, shapes. And of course, we painted like Kandinsky used to!

Hemos estado aprendiendo sobre el gran artista Wassily Kandisnky. Él disfrutaba el mundo a través de los colores y figuras geométricas. Así que, usando todo el material de reciclaje que los niños trajeron de casa, estudiamos figuras geométricas y tamaños, creamos patrones y repasamos los colores. Y por supuesto, pintamos usándolas como lo solía hacer Kandisnky.
